From dembicky at apo.nmsu.edu Sun Jul 17 08:08:27 2005 From: dembicky at apo.nmsu.edu (Jack Dembicky) Date: Tue Feb 7 18:30:18 2006 Subject: [Lens] PU02 Lenses observed Message-ID: I observed 2 Lenses tonight, HS2209 & Q2237. I attempted 2 others but clouds blocked the fields mid-way thru the observations so they were not recorded as observed. We had clouds during the 2 that were observed as well, but I felt we may have actually got something useful (at least I could see the target in the images). Data has been ftp'ed to OSU. I'll write the data to CD Later today for archival at APO. There is a permissions problem with the directory at the moment that I neeed to work around to write the CD. Seeing was marginal at 1.3-1.5 arc sec for the first two lenses, then improved to sub arc second seeing for the last two. I took double exposure (did the loop twice) for 2 of the lenses since there were not enough targets available for me to fill all the time. Biases and flats taken as well (tonight I was using the SDSS r', i', and z' filter set, 90s, 90s, 270s exposures repsectively). Data was written to CD here at APO. Data also FTP to OSU. I also forgot to FTP the data from 20050717 to Princeton a couple nights ago, that was done this morning as well as fpt'ing tonights data (20050720).
