[Peyton-observing] Peyton-observing Digest, Vol 2, Issue 4

Bob, those are some amazing images!

I do not mind heading up this project as it sounds like there's a
number of you interested in participating. May I suggest that those
that would like to participate meet up at some point in the next week
or two. We can brainstorm at a higher level (what types of
presentations will appeal to the type of person who would come for
some naked-eye telescope time, can we develop a set of presentations
that are general enough so that anyone who runs the telescope can give
them, etc.) and then take things from there. It looks like we've got
some good material to work with and would be good to develop a couple
of different ones with a different emphasis.

I am away this week, but back the first week of November. As I an new
to the department, it would be great to have a few people that have
done this for a while. Even if all you'd like to do is have some
initial input in the direction of the presentations, but don't want to
fuss with the development of the slides themselves, please come!

We can organize a time once I get a list of those interested in
participating. Just email this list and I'll put you on the list and
work out a time later next week for the meeting.
