I will be around from Monday to Wednesday and would be happy to show and talk (if there is a few other Peytonians to do it with).

Johannes

Anybody interested? It would be nice for a few of you to talk about
your research, and we could show them the telescope and talk about
`real' instruments.

Subject: observatory visit

Hi Professor Gunn,
My name is Karen Campbell. I am an instructor for Summer Institute for the
Gifted (SIG) which is being hosted by Princeton University for the next few
weeks. I am teaching a class entitled Cosmic Proportions, which deals with a
wide variety of topics related to things in outer space. Some of the
students are really interested in visiting the observatory during class time
to see the telescope, facilities and other instruments you use in your
research. I think they would also be really interested to hear a bit about
what you and some of the other faculty members are researching at this
time.

The class meets every week day from 10:30-11:55am and is 10 students who are
15-17 years old. If you think it would be possible to set up a visit to the
observatory and maybe get a tour of the building and hear about some of the
research going on, please let me know. Ideally, I am looking to schedule
something for next week.

Please don't hesitate if you have any questions regarding the program and I
hope to hear from you soon,
Karen Campbell
