[Peyton-observing] turn off the clock-drive!

Hi all,

A couple of days ago we checked the telescope with Chelsea, and found that
the
*clock-drive was left ON*. The telescope spun around around three times,
wrapping all the cables, and was at the limit of tearing them. To avoid
such a suicide from the telescope, please triple-check before you leave:
the clock-drive should be OFF! Miraculously, after spinning back the scope
to its normal location, and resetting it, the instrument seemed to work
fine.

There was a famous case in Hungary in the 1960's, when an old refractor in
a (low) rollover roof building kept tracking in the daytime, lifted up the
roof, and dropped it on the ground adjacent to the building.

Best wishes,
Gaspar
