Subject: Inquires regarding Peyton Observatory

Dear Professor Gunn,

My name is Yannis Karakozis and I am a member of the Executive Board of the
Princeton Futurist Society (PFS), Princeton University student organization
that aims to not only raise awareness for futuristic issues, but also
inspire individuals to shape the technologies of the future.

I am sending this email toinquire information regarding the Peyton Hall
Observatory, which we would like to reserve for the upcoming Future Tech
conference co-hosted by PFS and Princeton Innovation on February 10-12,
2017. We plan on having 100-200 participants from universities across the
country. The goal is to make this a recurring conference and establish a
nationwide network of student groups concerning themselves with emerging
technologies.

Specifically, we were wondering whether it would be possible to have all or
a portion of our participants visit the telescope room the Friday or
Saturday night of our conference to observe the night sky, while also having
a professor from the astrophysics department deliver a small talk on the
future of scientific and technological research and applications on
astronomy and astrophysics. If such an arrangement is possible and you would
be willing to either deliver yourself that talk or connect us with another
Princeton who might, we would be greatly honored.

I would be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.

Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Yannis Karakozis

PFS Conference Task Force Member
