Hello observers (and those interested in observing)!

We will be holding an orientation/training session on Monday September 18th at 8pm. We hold these events once a year to introduce new observers to the program, keep everyone up to date on telescope operation, and just let everyone say hi to each other!

The session will involve an overview of how Peyton hall’s public observing works, a training session where Rodrigo and Charlotte will walk us through how to set up, use, and shut down the telescope/dome properly, and a chance to discuss ideas for improving public observing (and possibly expanding it to local Trenton schools!)

Also, there will likely be food (probably pizza).

If you haven’t been trained on the telescope, want to brush up on your skills, or just want to say hi to observers new and old, please stop by!

Clear skies,
Camryn P.
